A black and white picture of Bill Withers with an acoustic guitar

I’m so happy I thought of this song when considering what to share for my Monday Music post. Listening to this has already been a mood boost for me this morning. The musicianship is excellent, and that groove is sheer brilliance!

I hope you enjoy this live version of ‘Use Me’ by Bill Withers. I’ll be working on song eight of my music project this week, and this soulful performance will serve as inspiration. God bless and have a great week!

  1. Thanks Steven, for reminding me about the joy Bill Withers brings!
With my hearing aids I can hear the music even if I can’t distinguish the lyrics – but I remember them from years ago so I fill in the gaps!
    Fab 🙂

    1. Thank you, Lynn! I started recording it yesterday and will be working on it this afternoon. Got a few ideas, just hoping (and praying) it all comes together! Hope you’re having a great week 🙂

    1. Hi there! No I haven’t seen or heard of the documentary before. I have Amazon Prime membership but it’s not available on there unfortunately (in the UK at any rate).

I’ll keep a look out as I would be interested to see it. Thanks for the tip! 🙂

  2. I actually have this one in my acoustic collection, and sometimes add it to my Sunday rituals. Pretty awesome Steven.
I have not created a note in over a month, but I do pray you find the notes for your next few songs. You’ve made a bold declaration and commitment, and we all truly know it’s within our efforts that we succeed. If it is His will.

    1. Hi Philip! Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I’m pleased to say the recording of my latest song has gone really well (which I attribute entirely to the grace of God).

I hope your new job is going well?
