A Few Photos from my Trip to Berlin

Posted by

My first time visiting Germany has been a lot of fun. The main purpose of my visit was to spend some quality time with my sister, who lives in Berlin, but I was also able to visit a few of the major tourist attractions and get a feel for the culture of the city.

Here are a few snaps from my trip.

The highlight of the trip for me was playing ridiculous games with my sister. We share a crazy sense of humour and at one point I laughed so much I spat coffee everywhere. Good to have a proper belly laugh!

I’m writing this post at Berlin Tegel airport as I wait in the departure lounge for my plane. I should be back in London in a few hours, and I’m looking forward to catching up with everything blogging-related over the next few days.

I hope you’re all well and have had a wonderful week!

Blessings, Steven

  1. Hi dear Steven
Did you visit also the check-point charly museum? It tells stories about people when escaping from East to West-berlin, or from East-Germany to West-Germany – really fascinating how people managed and invented all kind of possibilities to come to the West Side.

    All the best my friend

    1. Hi Didi! Unfortunately we didn’t make it to the Checkpoint Charlie museum, although I’m sure that would have been really interesting. We did go to a museum by the remains of the wall which showed some of the ways people tried to cross the border.

      Blessings to you, friend!

  2. Hi Steven, great pictures, loved ’em. Thanks for posting. Although … I would have liked to have seen a picture of you spitting coffee out everywhere. Perhaps you can relive the moment back in London and have someone shoot it!!!!

      1. They are both in New Jersey, just outside of New York City, about 900 miles away. By comparison, London to Berlin is about 600 miles apart. I think both are relatively easy to get to from our respective homes, but it costs money!
