Greetings, friends. I hope you all had a peaceful weekend and are feeling hopeful and positive today. I’m writing this post to let you know about three pieces of book-related news that will hopefully be of interest.
I realise I quite often publish books and so it might seem like I’m doing a lot of ‘promotion’. But honestly, writing is my vocational calling and I only share news about book releases that I believe will be of genuine interest to followers of this blog. I don’t write books for profit, I write books to share insights and help people grow on their faith journeys. True story!
Right, that’s nearly a minute gone so I’d better get a wiggle on…
Discovering the Qur’an
In recent months I wrote a series on this blog entitled ‘Understanding the Qur’an’. The series developed from notes I made after reading the Qur’an from cover to cover for the first time.
I was surprised to find that when I read the Qur’an carefully and in its entirety, the contents was very interesting and relatable.
In the book I discuss the various areas of resonance and dissonance that I discovered between Christianity and Islam, and subjects covered include divine sovereignty, the oneness of God, the person of Jesus Christ, and more.

Philosophical Theology (book)
This new book is a compilation of six of my ‘short read’ books. The books included in the compilation are Big Ideas from Ancient Greece, Thanks Be to God, An Almighty Predicament, The Only Question You Ever Need Ask, Understanding the Qur’an, and God Willing.
The reason for publishing this compilation is to offer readers the opportunity to own a selection of my short reads for a cheaper price than if they were purchased individually.
The book will be available as a 370+ page paperback or as an eBook. The book is in the final stages of production. Coming soon!
God’s Grand Game for FREE!
I’m very excited to announce that my book God’s Grand Game: Divine Sovereignty and the Cosmic Playground is available for FREE right now from all eBook retailers for a limited time.
This book is the result of more than 10 years’ study and reflection in relation to the divine sovereignty versus human free will predicament, and offers a thorough exposition of my philosophical perspective.
The book is free on Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Rakuten Kobo, Barnes and Noble Nook, and from other retailers. For retailer links that take you to the book’s page in your local country store, click here.
That’s all for this brief book-related update. If you have any questions about these books you can always drop me an email via the Contact page. My three minutes are more than up, have a great week!
