Perfect Peace

Steven Colborne's Philosophical Theology Blog

Trusting that your prayers will be answered

Paul tells us not to be anxious about anything.

On this ward, a wonderful man arrived recently and he is sorely plagued by demonic forces. It is impacting everyone on the ward. It’s like a shield of darkness has come over the ward.

I know and trust that this man this man can be healed completely and I know that my prayers for peace on the ward and for the salvation of everyone on the ward have been heard.

Sometimes the forces of evil can seem strong, but there is a word which crushes them every time. That word is a name. Jesus.

I know the man will be fine. I know that he is saved. I know that my prayers for everyone on the ward to be completely healed and set free will be answered.

How do I know? Because Jesus said that anything we ask the Father in His name will be granted for us.

Answers to prayer sometimes take time. In the waiting period, the enemy attacks. But I am not afraid.

Peace be with you, my fellow Christians.
