My spiritual journey has involved the exploration of a wide range of faith groups, from the ‘self-enquiry’ of gurus such as Ramana Maharshi, Papaji, and Mooji, to the shaking meditation retreats of Indian guru Ratu Bagus, to a period of time spent sleeping rough outside a mosque, to reading the Bible for the first time on a psychiatric ward, to a baptism course in a Catholic church, baptism in a Baptist church, Christian street outreach with The Last Reformation movement, serving at Hillsong conferences, and plenty more besides.
I documented many of these experiences in my first book, The Philosophy of a Mad Man, but what many of you may not know is that there is a kind of ‘Part 2’ to that book, which is The God Articles. Much like the former, the latter focuses on my spiritual journey, which distinguishes it from my other books which are focused on theology and are written in a more academic style.
The God Articles is a compilation of short articles, and every article represents a snapshot from my spiritual journey. The book includes a series of pieces that I wrote while in psychiatric hospital (which are quite amusing in places!), as well as dialogues with some learned friends about philosophical topics, and also prayers and poems that I wrote in the years following the publication of The Philosophy of a Mad Man.

The God Articles is available from a range of physical and digital retailers, which are listed on this page.
I hope the book will be of interest to spiritual seekers and anyone who enjoys reading the more personal articles I have shared from time to time on Perfect Chaos.
